FAQs

How do I know if my Garden Weasel tool repair is covered under the Lifetime Warranty?

If you’re the original purchaser, your Garden Weasel tool comes with our Lifetime Warranty—which means we’ve got your back if something goes wrong due to a manufacturing defect or workmanship issue.

What’s not covered? The usual suspects: normal wear and tear, accidental damage, loss, misuse, or using it for commercial work (our tools like to stay close to home gardens).

Think your tool qualifies? Just shoot us a message through our contact form, and we’ll dig into it! You’ll hear from us within 2–3 business days.

What’s the best way to clean and store my Garden Weasel tool?

Keeping your tool in top shape is easy—just wipe it down with a clean cloth or give it a quick rinse with water after use. No fancy spa treatments needed. When you’re done, tuck it away in a dry spot (think shed, garage, or tool rack). And for safety’s sake, keep it out of reach of curious kids and adventurous pets.

I’m using the WeedPopper Step & Twist but my weeds aren’t budging. Help?

No worries—we’ve got a few tricks up our (gardening) glove! The WeedPopper works best when the soil is damp—not bone dry, and not a mud puddle either. If your yard’s on the dry or clay-heavy side, try giving the area a light watering first. Once the soil’s softened up, place the blades over the weed, twist the handle a full turn, and voilà—weed be gone!

How do I know which size Weasel Nut Gatherer is right for me?

It’s not about how many you’re picking up—it’s about how big they are! Our Nut
Gatherers are sized to match what you’re collecting, whether it’s acorns, pecans, tennis balls, or something in between.

Just measure the goodies (nuts, fruits, or rogue golf balls) you want to scoop up, and that’ll point you to the perfect fit.

Need a hand picking the right one? Check out our Nut Gatherer collection page for a quick guide.

Are the tines on my Rotary Cultivator compatible with other Garden Weasel handles?

If you’ve got one of our newer Rotary Cultivators with the long red steel handle—good news! Your tines are designed to fit that handle like a glove.

However, if you’re working with one of the classic wooden-handled versions, the fit might be a bit more... vintage. Some older tines aren’t compatible with the newer handles due to design updates over time.

Not sure which one you’ve got? Feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help you get a handle on it!

Other Questions

How do I get help with a online order?

We’re here to help—whether your order’s stuck in the soil or just needs a little extra tending. Shoot us an email at info@gardenweasel.com or give us a ring at 1-800-697-8665. Our team will be happy to dig into it with you.

Are the tines on my Garden Weasel tool covered under the Lifetime Warranty?

Tines are considered a consumable part—kind of like tires on a trusty wheelbarrow. They're built to last, but rough terrain and regular use can wear them down over time.

That said, if your tines break within the first year after purchase, they’re covered under our warranty. After that, replacements can be purchased individually.

The replacement tines aren’t available on the website right now—what should I do?

No worries—we’ve got a backup plan. If your tines have broken and it’s been more than a year, they’re normally $5 each through our webstore. But since the shop’s taking a little nap, we’re sending them out as a courtesy for now.

Just email a photo of your tool (showing the broken tines) along with your shipping address to info@gardenweasel.com, and we’ll get your garden back in gear.
